Mr Kipling: Redesigned branding and packaging inspired by European patisseries

Mr Kipling’s offer of fresh, quality packaged treats was its strongest asset in both markets so Robot Food chose to hero the cakes on the front of pack, accompanied by shots of prominent ingredients wherever possible. Taking inspiration from European patisseries, bright pastels were chosen for a fresh, modern aesthetic. Robot Food balanced this freshness with a strong brand mark, showing the Kipling name front and centre. Philips has been revolutionizing lighting for over 125 years. They pioneered the world changing development of electric light and LED, and are now leading the way in intelligent lighting systems. As a school project, Franciska Juhasz’s mission was to design a packaging which functions for 3 different bulbs, and follows the same spirit as the products. LED lighting provides incredible energy efficiency, it is long lasting and environmentally friendly. The plastic provides sufficient protection to the bulb.
